They’re sleek, seductive, and only available in Los Angeles County at Galpin Lotus, part of the Premier Collection. You are invited to journey to our facilities in Van Nuys and experience first-hand why the brand evokes passion and power among the automotive cognoscenti.

Did you know that we also carry a large inventory of pre-owned vehicles? Because our stock moves quickly, we’re always looking for well-cared-for cars from owners like you. Whether you want to sell straight out because what you own needs to go or you want to upgrade your drive to something else, we want what you’re offering and can give you several benefits in exchange.

Why Rely on Us?

You’re no doubt thinking that you can get a higher price from a private party, which is true because we can only offer you a high wholesale value in order to recoup our investment. However, consider the tribulations that you may suffer from your potential buyer. You’ll need to advertise your vehicle by taking pictures of it and posting it on the website, and then field phone calls to schedule visits to your private abode from unvetted lookie-loos who may never show up. If you do end up selling, you’re responsible for all the paperwork necessary to transfer ownership as well as ensuring that any payment you receive will be legitimate.

When you trust us with your vehicle, whether from a straight sale or an exchange for a new purchase, we impinge on your time as little as possible. After bringing your car in for a quick inspection, we make you an offer and take care of all the documentation to transfer ownership so that you can leave with a check in hand or with a new purchase. Our commitment to providing exceptional customer service ensures that you will receive a deal that puts you first.

How Can You Get the Best Value?

While we will consider any vehicle that you bring in, particularly if you’re trading up to a better model, you can do a few things to prepare it for the best value possible. Begin by removing personal possessions and restoring the vehicle as close to its original purchase condition as possible by including any documents, keys, and accessories it came with. Get the vehicle  tidy and make sure that you have the current title and registration or you will have to file for a replacement. You’re then ready to be pampered by a staff who wants to make your visit a memorable automotive experience.

What Do We Want?

At Galpin Lotus, we want to buy your car. However, most of our clientele is naturally interested in luxury pre-owned transports like the exciting Aston Martin Vantage, the majestic Bentley Continental, or the head-turning Ferrari F8 Spider Convertible. What piques our interest are the other Lotus wonders on which we’ve built our sterling reputation.

Do you have a Lotus Emira, which is known as the “most accomplished Lotus ever made?” Its exotically sculpted body envelops a 3.5-liter Supercharged V6 that thunders with 400 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque while rushing from 0 to 60 MPH in 4.3 seconds to achieve a top speed of 180 MPH. Enhancing its connected technology is a 12.3-inch TFT driver display back of the steering wheel and a 10.25-inch center-mounted touchscreen that interfaces with your compatible smartphone through Apple CarPlay® and Android Autoâ„¢.

Perhaps you are looking to upgrade to the upcoming Lotus Eletre, which stands out as the world’s first electric Hyper-SUV? Its name derives from some Eastern European languages and means “Coming to Life,” an apt designation because this foray into fully electric SUV sports a prodigious 100-kWh battery to deliver up to 600 horsepower and an estimated 373 miles of driving range on one charge.

Then, there’s the Lotus Evija, the first model with an electrified powertrain, whose numbers will be limited to only 130. At 1,680 kg, this is expected to be the lightest EV hypercar in production, which contributes to a target range of 215 miles and a target maximum speed of 200 MPH, achieved by allowing air to flow through to maximize downforce. Its lightweight aspirations are assisted by a tailored interior that eschews unnecessary detail.

The Lotus Evora becomes the ideal driver’s attainment, thanks to its agile engineering, precise responsiveness, and refined interior. Its supercharged 3.5-liter Supercharged V6 generates 416 horsepower and 317 lb.-ft. of torque while accelerating in 3.8 seconds from 0-60 to a top speed of 188 MPH. Special editions include the GT410 Sport, which can maximize comfort or track performance. The GT410 excels at everyday utility, and the GT increases capability with a carbon fiber body and sport-tuned suspension.

Produced from 1997 to the present, the Lotus Elise puts a fiberglass body around an aluminum chassis while enabling drivers to welcome the sun with a convertible top. The result is an acceleration of 0 to 60 in as little as 3.8 seconds for the Elise Cup 260 version and a top speed of 150 MPH for several of its models. Its coupe version is the Lotus Exige, which first came out in 2000 and, at its quickest, could rush from 0-60 in 3.6 seconds to a top speed of 180 MPH.

The Lotus Elan is considered by many to be the best Lotus ever, despite its early first-gen production from 1962 – 1975 and 2nd-gen production from 1989 -1995. It uses a fiberglass body on a steel backbone chassis to connect its driver to every move on the road. Its simple and compact presence effortlessly weaves through tight traffic while making its driver look cool with an open top and plucky appearance.
